Pi(e) Day - Great Library Pie Bake-off - in 3 weeks

Four libraries with renowned culinary collections are holding their Great Library Pie Bake-off. This year's theme is Bite the Hand (Pie) that Feeds You on March 12 at 3:00 PM. For those who know your Pi - 𝞹 - it is a little early due to the libraries schedules. Pi is 3.14159... so official date is March 14, a Saturday.

" 'Hand Pies': hand pies, pasties, pocket pies, samosas, empanadas, meat (with meat or not) pies...Whatever you want to call them and whether they are sweet or savory, the pies for our next Pi(e) Day should be portable and palatable! Library colleagues & culinary historians from across the world will bake historical recipes from their collections and share the results, successes, and spectacular failures."
