Winter scenes with Beatty's Steam Crackers of Baltimore

Three snowy scenes on the trade cards for Beatty steam bakery, since many parts of the US are dealing with a large amont of snow and sleet. Talks: Vanilla (2), Philippines & bananas, Women & cheese, Food adulteration...

James Beatty (1833-1913) owned the thriving Beatty Steam Bakery, shown in the Sachse map of 1869. His grandfather James Beatty (1776-1852) was the U.S. Naval Agent (1810-28, War of 1812) in Baltimore and owned the Bellona Gunpowder Manufactory (1801-1856).
